  • 4 tilapia fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  • In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and use a pastry brush to spread it evenly. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over both sides of each fillet.
  • Lay thin slices of lemon on top of each fillet. The lemon will infuse the fish with a bright, citrusy flavor as it bakes.
  • Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove the tilapia from the oven and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
